When I was 12-years-old, I cooked my first meatloaf. I was overjoyed when my parents and grandparents complimented me on how delicious it tasted. Over the years, I’ve worked hard to perfect my recipe. Besides two pounds of ground sirloin, my meatloaf contains tasty ingredients including bell pepper, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup and whole-wheat crackers. I bake my meatloaf in a roasting pan with an attached wire rack. Placing the meatloaf on top of the wire rack allows the unwanted grease to go to the bottom of the roasting pan.
